Dr. Akiva Yonah Meiselman is an Economist on our Science Team. At RIPL, he investigates labor market research questions, evaluates human capital investments, and helps to guide conversations about prediction and causal analysis. Prior to joining RIPL, he completed a Ph.D. in Economics at the University of Texas at Austin, where his research was focused on education policy and applied econometrics. Previously, Yonah worked as the Chief Data Officer at Brooke Charter Schools in Boston, MA, and as a Research Analyst at The Brattle Group in Cambridge, MA. Yonah lives in Washington, DC, and he likes to spend his free time cooking, cycling, and dancing.
