Sarah Beardsley is the Science Coordination Officer for the Science Team at RIPL where she ensures the smooth running of science and research projects, partner relationships, and general operations of the team. Prior to joining RIPL, she was the Chief of Staff for the Maryland Department of Labor where she oversaw the Department’s operations, policy, communications, and special projects. She previously served in Governor Hogan’s Opioid Operational Command Center and has multiple years of experience in state and local government. Sarah lives in Baltimore County, Maryland and when she is not working to improve people’s lives, she likes to try not to kill house plants and pretend that she likes hiking.
