Mark Howison serves on the board of RIPL and was formerly the Sr. Director of Research and Technology at RIPL. Originally trained as a computer scientist, his career has led to multidisciplinary partnerships with economists, doctors, and policy makers to solve challenges in human health and public policy. He is the author of over 50 peer-reviewed publications in computer science, education, biology, public health, and public policy. Currently, Mark is a Senior Applied Scientist at Amazon, Inc. He received an M.S. in Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley.
