About Amy
Amy von Kaenel is a Senior Product Manager who brings deep experience in education technology to RIPL, where she applies data-driven strategies to advance workforce development. Her career highlights include leading user research and technology initiatives to enhance educational tools for GenZ and job seekers at every career stage.Before joining RIPL, Amy was immersed in product management with Thrively, Lion's Heart, VolunteerCrowd, and Accredible, developing consumer and enterprise SaaS platforms.
She specialized in creating user-centered solutions related to strength-based assessments and co-curricular activities for students to build skills and credentials for job seekers and employers to value achievements. Amy is also an executive member of the UCI Alumni Association Board, where she drives workforce development and career advancement initiatives.
Amy earned her BA in Economics and MBA from the University of California, Irvine. She is enthusiastic about continuing her work in workforce development at RIPL, helping individuals cultivate their skills and succeed. Outside work, she enjoys running, hiking, and traveling with her husband and three boys.
